Thirty Colleges Opt-in for 2020-21 Season
The California Community Colleges Athletic Association announced that 30 colleges have opted in for the 2020-21 season. However, due to the limited number of colleges opting in for competition, the recommendation is to eliminate regional championships. Therefore, the season will commence on March 1 and conclude on April 17. Due to the pandemic outbreak colleges may remove themselves at any time, or more colleges could choose to opt-in at the last moment.

Feather River
Gavilan
Golden West
Hartnell
Las Positas
Merritt
Monterey Peninsula
Ohlone
Orange Coast
Palo Verde
Redwoods
San Francisco
San Jose City
San Mateo
Santa Ana
Santiago Canyon
Sequoias
Shasta
Siskiyous
Skyline
West Valley
Colleges that opted out may still have contact with their student-athletes through July 1, without being in violation of First Contact rules. Institutions that have opted in are not permitted to contact a student athlete at another California community college and are required to notify the student’s institution and commissioner of any contact by a student athlete.
